I love the way you’ve explored the various geometries of the light source and the figure. The series works as a grouping and the images work individually.

My visual memories were formed in the film days, so I respond positively to grain at the subconscious level. It tells me “this is a photograph”. It adds a distinct look – both softening an image somewhat and giving it sharp contrast. It adds a look of hand crafting to an image.
