I am totally excited about this image. Zoe and I created it the day after my baby shower. It almost makes me want hold out on having the baby soon, and to beg Zoe to come back so we can shoot, shoot, shoot and see what more magic we can come up with. But, I  think I’ll just have to have another baby, so we can shoot I am eager to meet this one!

I am really starting to enjoy being pregnant, even though I am in the last stage of the 3rd trimester when all the unpleasentness of pregnancy seems to creep up. I kind of wish that I had a couple more months of this.

I have been SUPER busy lately! I had two good friends you all might know fly in for my baby shower, which was a great time! Also lots of family came together for the event. And on top of that the fact that we just bought our first house, and I am trying to cram all the nesting behavior I can into the last 2 months. I am bu-sy!!

Zoe and I got to shoot a little. I am really anxiousto see the results. We have such a special relationship her and I, both as friends, and as model and photographer.. I am excited to see the new chapter we are in.

I also got to shoot a bit with Candace, little stolen shots in between a formal shoot. I’ll be excited to see those as well. I don’t like having to say “next time, I’ll do this more” but the next time I am pregnant, I hope to be living a more less stressful busy life, so “next time” I can shoot more!

I realize it’s really hard to avoid plastics as a whole, but we can all do a little more thinking, and better choice making to cut down our usage. You do have a choice!

Taken at my very first maternity shoot. After year of living with your naked self, especially seeing your naked self in many, many images taken through the years, there is a certain type of wonder to see the first images of your naked pregnant self.

Well, I am still waiting to get the disc from my shoot the other day, but I have already rescheduled with the photographer, so it must have went at least a little bit ok. I’ll know more when I see the images. He did send along 2 previews, and WOW I really do look pregnant! I’ll post one of them, just so you all can get an idea of my size. But keep in mind that we were trying to “play up” the belly, me with my pose, him with his angles.

In other news, I wish more of my photographer friends lived closer to me! Now that I am entering my 3rd trimester, I can’t really travel, well, comfortably travel. So that means they have to come to me. I want to shoot. I want to try and work my new and different body for the short 3 months that I have it!

Come to Boston!

this is my fine art nude blog. Since I have become pregnant, I hadn’t been modeling much. The change in my body has been somewhat hard to handle.  I think every pregnant lady (or at least a lot of them) think that their body is just misshapen and weird. Especially when you go comparing it to other pregnant women.

I had my first pregnant modeling shoot yesterday. From what I saw on the back of  the camera it went well. But I’ll wait until I get the disks with the proofs on them.
